The latest data from the UK Finance suggests that although the number of arrears cases are falling in the UK, repossessions are increasing.

Mortgage arrears have increased 4.2% in the first quarter. It's grim out there, but I remain hopeful interest rates will move down soon.

The latest data from the Bank of England shows that mortgage arrears rose in the last quarter of 2023. This wasn't unexpected, given the turmoil created by the pandemic and the high-interest rates that followed.
