Property search fixed! Now faster than ever
The property search speed has been an issue for a while. I have finally isolated the issue and re-worked the code to make it virtually instant.
Since I added a map to the property search page and a couple of other changes, it was taking up to 5 seconds for the page to load. Whilst that may not seem bad, internet users have no patience; anything over 2 seconds causes people to leave, rather than wait.
I have identified the issue, reconfigured the page and cached more data.
The result is that the search page now returns property results almost instantly and stops some of you complaining 🙂
